Symphony of the Rockies encourages all musicians in Colorado to join our mission to engage, enrich, and inspire.
Audition Instructions
For all section players or to audition for the substitute list, please prepare 5-8 contrasting standard orchestral excerpts of your choice five by video or audio (Google Drive or YouTube are preferred).
Video and audio should be recorded in highest quality possible.

Conducting Apprenticeship
Join our season-long Conducting Apprenticeship Program with Music Director Devin Patrick Hughes for hands-on experience both on and off the podium. Apprentices gain access to rehearsals, conducting labs, and personalized mentorship, while contributing to creative and administrative projects that support our orchestras and mission.
