Peter & The Wolf
Children’s Discovery Concert

Join Symphony of the Rockies for a musical adventure as Sergei Prokofiev’s beloved Peter and the Wolf comes to life through the instruments of the orchestra.

In this engaging Children’s Discovery Concert, students will discover how music tells a story as each character is represented by a different instrument and musical theme. From Peter and his animal friends to the prowling wolf, young audiences will learn to recognize instruments, listen for musical clues, and experience how composers use sound to create character, emotion, and action.

Designed especially for young audiences, this interactive live performance introduces students to orchestral music through storytelling, imagination, and active listening.

Perfect for school field trips, homeschool families, and young music lovers.
