At Symphony of the Rockies, we believe music has the power to honor, uplift, and heal. Our Seats for Service program is one of the most meaningful ways we support our community—by ensuring that veterans and their families can attend our concerts free of charge, all season long.
Honoring Those Who Served
Every year, we provide hundreds of complimentary tickets to service members and their loved ones. These seats aren’t leftovers or last-minute giveaways—they are intentionally reserved because the presence of veterans enriches our audience, strengthens our community, and reflects our gratitude.
“Dear Symphony of the Rockies, On behalf of my family and myself, thank you for your generous donation of tickets to VetTix, which allowed us to attend Rose of Sonora. The music was stunning, and the live performance was unforgettable. It was a privilege to witness the artistry and passion, and it brought joy to our family. Your support of veterans and their families is deeply appreciated. Contributions like yours allow us to enjoy artistic experiences that create lasting memories.”
Seats for Service
“My wife, daughter, grandson, and I had a great evening with the Symphony. We truly enjoyed the music from the movies but wow, the Rose of Sonora was wonderful. The artistry of the movements were truly amazing. We stayed for the Q&A and learned much about the concerto and George S. Clinton & Holly Mulcahy teaming up for this.”
“Dear Symphony of the Rockies, The performance last night was absolutely wonderful and it was fun. Thank you for supporting Vet Tix and the Veterans in our community. Events like this mean the world to many of us. We couldn’t do this without you. The conductor, Mr. Hughes, was delightful. Every segment was a mix of nostalgia and joy. The 5 part Rose of Sonora just got better as each part progressed. The violinist was elegant and superb. Being able to attend this event was a healing experience, not only for the music, but to be in community. Thank you so much for this opportunity! I am grateful for your kindness.”
Our Partnership with VetTix
We’re proud to partner with VetTix (Veteran Tickets Foundation), a national nonprofit organization dedicated to giving back to those who have served. VetTix provides free event tickets to:
Veterans
Active-duty service members
National Guard and Reserve members
Gold Star families
Their mission is simple: Help veterans and their families create lifelong memories and experiences that strengthen their bonds and community connections.
Through this partnership, Symphony of the Rockies distributes tickets directly through the VetTix platform, making it easy, secure, and accessible for military families to attend our performances.
Why It Matters
Live music offers something unique: connection, inspiration, and a moment of beauty in a world that often asks too much of those who have served. Whether it’s a holiday pops concert, a soaring symphonic masterpiece, or an intimate chamber program, we are honored to share these experiences with the people who have sacrificed so much for our country.
Our Commitment
Symphony of the Rockies is committed to ensuring that cost is never a barrier for military families. Seats for Service is a permanent part of our mission, and as our programs grow, so will the number of veterans and families we welcome into our concert halls.
If you’d like to help us continue offering these experiences to veterans and their families, please consider making a donation to support the Seats for Service program. Every gift directly expands our ability to provide free tickets and deepen our community impact.
If You Are a Veteran
We invite you to join us. Claim your free tickets through VetTix, bring your family, and be part of a musical community that values your service.
