Symphony of the Rockies Presents Season Opener: “Beethoven, Brahms, & Brittany”
Symphony of the Rockies (formerly Arapahoe Philharmonic) kicks off its inaugural season with “Beethoven, Brahms, & Brittany” on October 26th, 2024, at the Newman Center for the Performing Arts. This exciting season opener features acclaimed pianist Lorraine Min, who will perform Brahms’ Piano Concerto No. 1, under the direction of Devin Patrick Hughes, Conductor.
The program combines timeless masterpieces with a contemporary twist:
Brahms’ Piano Concerto No. 1 – A powerful and emotional work brought to life by Lorraine Min.
Beethoven’s Symphony No. 1 – The piece that launched Beethoven’s symphonic legacy.
Brittany Green’s “In the Beginning” – A contemporary exploration of creation and existence.
